Phenomenal is a much used superlative, but it is very appropriate when describing the accomplishments of Rona Borre. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Borre went to work for a large staffing firm where she proceeded to lead the company in sales, setting every sales record the company ever had.
Borre decided that she had achieved all that could be done with that company, so she decided to form her company, which she did in a spare bedroom of her Chicago condo. At first, it was only Rona and her pet bulldog, Henry, but as things got going, Instant Alliance, her new company, became instant news in the windy city of Chicago. Check conferences.shrm.org for more details.
That was fifteen years ago, and today Instant Alliance is one of the fastest growing staffing firms in the nation. Rona Borre has a system that most staffing companies fail to use. She knows that the key employees for growing companies are technological and finance professionals because these are the individuals who can get a growing company to the next level. So Borre and her account executives spend an extraordinary amount of time doing their research by asking key people in the hiring company all about what and who the need to fill the position. They also get to know the leaders of the company very well. When the compile their needed information, they go out and find the one individual who fits the description. The amazing statistic is that over the past 15 years, there has only been a 1% dropoff rate of people hired in this manner.

People are often subjected to oppression and injustices against them, because it is believed by their oppressors that their victims cannot protect themselves. Protection is often obtained in the form of money, and the poor are the most subjected to oppressive actions, because they cannot afford legal protection. George Soros wants to put an end to the oppression of the poor. He knows what it is like to have a bully’s foot placed upon his family because of their differences. George comes from the country of Hungary, and that nation was once invaded by the Nazis. When George was 14, he experienced the invasion firsthand and barely managed to escape the Holocaust of Hitler.
When Hitler was finally out of the picture, George Soros moved away to find a better way of life in London. He enrolled into the School for Economics. While there, he not only earned a degree in Economics, but also obtained a Master’s in Philosophy. These two degrees aided George with his future ability to earn a great deal of capital. George soon went to work at a brokerage firm; the esteemed Singer and Friedlander. He quickly learned how to excel at the skillful art of trading securities from one country to another, and made a massive profit. With his resulting earnings, he could now afford to sail away to New York and further excel with his new knowledge. Read more about George’s life story at biography.com
While in New York, George worked at a variety of firms on Wall Street, amassing even more wealth. This wealth allowed him to found his own hedge fund company, which he named after his own name, the Soros Fund. Many years later, in the 1980s, he would found another company for the purpose of aiding people and companies who are desperately in need of funds. He called the company the Open Society Foundation. The name for this latest endeavor comes from the teachings of Karl Popper, a noted philosopher that George was exposed to during his studies in London. Mr. Popper had the viewpoint that a free society without persecution of the poor is the only way to experience a world of fantastic opportunities for everyone.
To that end, George’s foundation funds those without access to legal aid, people who need medical care, and those who desire to attain an education so that they can achieve a better life on their own. Medical marijuana is probably the most inexpensive and most accessible drug on the planet. However, the herb has been proven by medical science to help prevent terrible seizures, and a host of other ailments that usually call for the need of prescription medications, that often cost a great deal more than marijuana does.
